How long does an appointment take?
The simple answer is ‘as long as you require’. On average we are with you for 60-90 minutes, however, on some occasions a little longer, but we will never make you feel rushed.

How long is a quotation valid for?
Due to the price fluctuations in precious metals, our quotations last for 7 days. This is just to cover us in case there is a sudden spike in the metal price. However, if you did decide to proceed after the initial 7-day period, we will honour the quote, if there hasn’t been too much movement in price.

Why are your rings so reasonably priced compared to other suppliers?
This is a question we get asked a lot and it’s understandable. It is simply because we don’t have the overheads of other companies. We don’t have a shop and we don’t employ sales agents, meaning we can pass those savings on to you. The way we price our rings is a little different to other suppliers too. Plain rings are quoted based on what they will weigh. This is a very good way for you to compare prices. If a company is reluctant or unable to tell you the weight of the finished ring (within tolerance), it may be worth questioning why they can’t?

Do you offer a bespoke service?

Absolutely. In the unlikely event that you can’t find your perfect ring from our samples, we do offer a full CAD design service. We can help you to design your dream ring, involving you in every step of the process.

I need a shaped Wedding Ring, as my engagement ring is an unusual shape. Is this something you can help me with?

Absolutely! We have just over 40 different shaped Wedding Rings which can be made in any metal and can be altered in width, plus we can add diamonds, if you so wish.  If for any reason we cannot find a shape to fit your engagement ring exactly, from our collection, we can specially create one that fit exactly.

Will you need my engagement ring to create a bespoke wedding ring for me?

Initially, no, we can do a drawing and give you a quote, from a photograph of your Engagement ring. It would only be if you chose to go ahead with your order, would we then require your engagement ring. We understand that the thought of being apart from your engagement ring for a time, is unbearable, but we will ensure that we process the work as quickly as is possible and will always treat your Jewellery with care and respect, as we understand how sentimental it is to you.

We would never post your ring. Everything is hand delivered and we are fully insured whilst we have it in our possession & we will also provide you with a receipt whilst we have your ring, just for that extra peace of mind.

If I am happy with your quote, can I pay a deposit on the night?

Yes, we can proceed an order on the night, however, we want you to be 100% sure before you commit and pay a deposit, so we would NEVER put any pressure on you to decide during the appointment. We can accept cash, bank transfer, card payment & PayPal.

What deposit do I need to pay?

The minimum deposit we need is 10% of the final price, this will secure the price on the quote. Please note, we won’t commence the process of making your rings until you have paid a minimum of 30% of the final balance.

Can I pay in Instalments?

Absolutely. You can pay as little or as much as you want whenever you want, interest free to help you spread the cost. Please note, we would require the full balance to be paid before or upon delivery of your ring(s).

How long will it take for my ring(s) to be ready for delivery?

From the point that you ask us to make your ring(s) it usually takes 2 weeks for plain rings and 4 weeks for diamond set rings to be made. However, if it is bespoke ring, these can take slightly longer due to the design process, but we will inform you of the approximate time when you place your order.

How do I receive my Rings?

We HAND DELIVER all orders personally; We NEVER post anything (unless otherwise discussed). This way we can make sure you are 100% happy with your purchase before you make the final payment. There is no hidden cost for this service, it is all included in the quotation & it is what separates us from other companies. Why would you pay in full for something you haven't even seen or tried on? Plus, it is the best part of our job, seeing the excitement on your faces when you try your rings on for the first time.

Your rings will also come boxed, along with a cleaning cloth and a receipt for the full amount. Perfect for if you need to insure them.

I am not getting married for a while and I think my finger size will change, but I’d like to secure the price of the quote, what are my options?

We are happy to postpone the production of your rings until closer to the big day. Simply pay your deposit, inform us that you would like to get your fingers re-sized closer to the Wedding Date and we won’t make the rings until such time. Please note, in this instance, it will be your responsibility to visit us to get re-measured, but it is possible that we will be displaying at a Wedding Fayre near you at some point, so would be happy to accommodate this at that point.

If I can’t make up my mind on the first visit, will you come out to us again?

Yes, but we will charge £50 for every subsequent visit. This will be deducted from your balance once a deposit has been paid. No charge is made for visits after a deposit has been received.

Do you have any special offers?

Yes, we do! If you pay a deposit for 2 or more rings within 7 days of the initial quotation date, we will give you a 10% discount off the price of the Entire Order. (Excluding bespoke rings/repairs/engraving) See our terms & conditions, here, for more information.

Do I need to make a decision at my appointment?

No, not at all. We treat customers exactly how we want to be treated, so we NEVER put pressure on people to buy & never expect you to decide there & then. We simply leave you with a written quote to allow you & your partner to discuss it & if you decide that you would like to proceed with the order, you get in contact with us. Although we would love you to purchase your ring(s) from us, there is no obligation to buy.

Can you Repair/Recondition my engagement ring?

Yes, our workshop can carry out any repairs that you may need including re-rhodium plating. Please note, this service isn’t covered by our home visit service, it will be your responsibility to deliver/collect your item from ourselves.

Are there any extra costs involved, such as postage, VAT, etc.?

No, the price we quote is the final price you pay. There are no hidden costs.

Do our rings come with any guarantees?

Yes, all our precious metal rings are guaranteed for life against any manufacturing issues. (This does not cover normal wear & tear or accidental damage)

Do you engrave the rings?

Absolutely! You can choose to have anything engraved inside (or outside, if the design allows), in a choice of fonts. Anything from names, to dates, to a special message between you both. Ask us about styles and designs that are available.

Are you Diamonds conflict free?

Every diamond sold by Aspire Fine Jewellery is ethically sourced and conflict free. All diamonds have been obtained from suppliers working within the Kimberley Process scheme.

What if my finger size changes after we are married?

We will always ensure that when we deliver the rings to you, that they are perfect for you and that they fit your finger correctly. In the unlikely instance that they don't, we will take them away and resize them for you, at no cost to you. However, very occasionally, over time your fingers can change in size. Be it from a recent weight change, water retention or change in climate you just find it doesn't fit right and you may require it to be altered again, months after you are married. Because we value your custom, we offer 'one' free resizing (per ring) within one year of you receiving your ring(s). Please note, this only applies to precious metal rings and not Zirconium or Titanium rings.

It would be your responsibility to get your ring to us and to arrange collection, although you can always arrange to meet us at one of the many wedding fayres that we are exhibiting at, if this is more convenient.
